Preparing for a consultation

When you book a feng shui consultation, there are a few things you'll need to organise:1. Floor Plan
A floor plan of the property (hand-drawn to scale if you don't have access to one).
2. Build Year
The year the property was built (check your sales contract or ask your local council) OR the date of a major renovation that changed the home entirely — for example, if the roof was removed and the sky was visible from inside.
3. Images/Video
Photographs from each corner of every room, plus photos of the front and back doors and the views from each. An optional walk-through video can also be helpful.
4. Key Reasons for Consultation
Think about the challenges you're facing, what you'd like to change, what you're working towards, and any areas of your home that don't feel right to you — for example, a lounge room where you can't relax.
5. Are You Renting or an Owner Occupier?
This helps us tailor recommendations to your situation.

Feng Shui

Feng shui is the study of how human beings are impacted by the energy (chi) and elements within their environment. It considers our connection with nature; the sun and moon, the seasons, and the cycles of life.Originating in China over 5,000 years ago, feng shui translates to Wind and Water. This highlights the theory that chi needs to flow freely like the wind and water. Given that we are 70% water and breathe in the air, it makes sense that we are innately connected to the cycles of the natural world.Feng shui has evolved over time to encompass different schools of thought and approaches including the form school, the five elements, the five animals, classical flying stars, and ba zhai. These various approaches share a common goal - to balance the chi of a space to support the people within it in all aspects of their lives.

Terms of Service

Flourish With Feng Shui Last updated: 17 July 2026These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Flourish With Feng Shui (ABN 49 687 400 131) ("we", "us", "our"), an Australian-based business providing online feng shui consulting services to clients worldwide. By booking a consultation, purchasing a report, or otherwise engaging our services, you ("Client", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.1. About Our Services
1.1 We provide feng shui consulting, assessments, and related advisory services delivered entirely online, including but not limited to video/online consultations, written reports, floor plan analysis, and remote energy assessments ("Services").
1.2 We do not conduct in-person site visits. All Services are based on information, photographs, floor plans, videos, and other materials you provide to us ("Client Materials"). The accuracy and completeness of our advice depends on the accuracy and completeness of the Client Materials you supply.
1.3 We operate from Australia and serve clients internationally. By engaging us, you acknowledge that our Services are provided remotely and that Australian law governs our relationship, as set out in clause 12.
2. Nature of Advice — Important Disclaimer
2.1 Feng shui is a traditional practice and a matter of belief, cultural heritage, and personal preference. It is not a science, and our recommendations are not a substitute for professional advice from architects, engineers, building surveyors, electricians, medical practitioners, financial advisors, or legal professionals.
2.2 Our Services are provided for informational, cultural, and lifestyle guidance purposes only. We make no guarantee of any particular outcome, including but not limited to improvements in health, wealth, relationships, career, or general wellbeing.
2.3 You should seek independent professional advice before making any structural changes, financial decisions, medical decisions, or other significant life decisions, and before undertaking any renovation or building work, regardless of any recommendation we provide.
2.4 We accept no responsibility for decisions you make based on our advice, or for the outcomes of any changes you implement.
3. Bookings and Payment
3.1 Consultations and reports must be booked and paid for in advance via Stripe through our website or via bank transfer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2 All prices are listed in AUD and are exclusive of GST where applicable to Australian clients. Clients outside Australia are responsible for any taxes, duties, or currency conversion costs applicable in their own jurisdiction.
3.3 We accept payment via credit/debit card and bank transfer. Full payment is required before a consultation is confirmed or a report is commenced, unless a deposit arrangement has been agreed.
3.4 We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Changes will not affect bookings already confirmed and paid for.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
4.1 Client cancellations: You may reschedule a confirmed consultation prior to providing all required information and documentation, at no additional cost. Once required information and documentation has been received the consultation cannot be cancelled as work will have begun on the analysis.
4.2 Our cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer an alternative time or a full refund.
4.3 Refunds on delivered work: Because our Services involve personalised professional time and, in the case of reports, delivery of a finished digital product, we do not offer refunds once a written report has been delivered or a consultation has taken place, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law (see clause 9) or equivalent consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
4.4 If you are dissatisfied with the Services, please contact us at [email protected] within 5 business days so we can address your concerns.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 You agree to: (a) provide accurate, current, and complete information and Client Materials; (b) obtain any necessary permissions before sharing photographs, floor plans, or footage of premises that are not solely your own (e.g. rental properties, shared offices, or other people's homes); (c) attend scheduled consultations on time and ensure a stable internet connection; and (d) use the Services for lawful, personal, or business purposes only.
5.2 We are not responsible for delays, errors, or omissions in our Services arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or late Client Materials.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All reports, written materials, diagrams, and other content we create and provide to you ("Deliverables") remain our intellectual property, or that of our licensors, except as expressly stated otherwise.
6.2 Upon full payment, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Deliverables for your own personal or internal business purposes.
6.3 You may not resell, publish, distribute, or commercially exploit our Deliverables without our prior written consent.
6.4 We retain the right to use anonymised or de-identified insights from consultations for training, marketing, or business development purposes, but will never disclose your identity or specific property details without your consent.
7. Confidentiality and Privacy
7.1 We respect your privacy. Personal information you provide will be collected, used, and stored securely, and will not be retained longer than required. We will follow where applicable, the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
7.2 If you are located outside Australia, you acknowledge that your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Australia or other countries where our service providers operate.
7.3 We will not share your Client Materials or consultation details with third parties except as required to deliver the Services, or comply with the law.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
8.2 We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss or damage, including loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from decisions made in reliance on our advice.
8.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including those under the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent legislation in your home jurisdiction.
9. Australian Consumer Law
9.1 If you are a "consumer" for the purposes of the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), you have certain guarantees that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified, including that our Services will be provided with due care and skill and be fit for the purpose disclosed.
9.2 Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any equivalent consumer protection law that applies to you in your country of residence, to the extent such law cannot be excluded.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the Services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including internet or technology outages, natural disasters, illness, or other events preventing us from delivering a scheduled consultation. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule as soon as practicable.
11. Termination
11.1 We may suspend or terminate access to our Services if you breach these Terms, engage in abusive conduct toward us, or use the Services for unlawful purposes.
11.2 Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement (e.g. a multi-session package) by providing written notice. Fees for Services already delivered are non-refundable, subject to clause 9.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.2 You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, regardless of where you are located.

15.3 No waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
15.4 Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a sale or restructuring of our business.
